Corrosive Challenge Day

I’ve been busy making Christmas cards for lots of people, except myself! I received a few additional orders from ladies at work, so that has been my priority this week. I think today will be a combination of card-making and real work (lots to do these days). I did manage to find time to make a card for the Corrosive Challenge Blog (Challenge #91). This was my week to use an image from Shirley’s 2 Girls. I chose the “Mother Knows Best” image. I was at my sister-in-law’s house yesterday to celebrate my brother-in-law’s 50th birthday and there were 3 pregnant women there, all due within 4 weeks of each other! When I saw this image, I knew I had to use it and I’m sure I’ll give it to one of them in the near future. Whew! I’m glad I am done with all of that – my guys are teenagers and a lot less work it seems now. Here is what I came up with (I wish my photo was sharper – the colours IRL are much crisper and vibrant):

Here is my recipe for this card:

Card Stock – Neenah 80 lb. Solar White, Blushing Bride (SU), Certainly Celery (SU)Cameo Coral (retired SU)
Patterned Paper – Nana’s Nursery by DCWV
Image – “Mother Knows Best” from Shirley’s 2 Girls (digital image), sentiment from Lizzie Anne Designs (“Say it in Script”)
Ink – Momento Tuxedo Black, various copic markers
Accessories – Spellbinders Nestabilities (Label 8), SU circle punches (1 1/4″ and 1 3/8″), dimensionals

I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting today!
