Corrosive Challenge #86 – Get rid of the White

October 17, 2010 at 4:49 pm Leave a comment

Our challenge over at Corrosive Challenge Blog this week was to make a card that did not include white! Well, I’m a huge fan of white, so I had to really think about this one. I decided on a really simply layout and scheme for my card this week. My son needed a birthday card for a friend, so this is what I came up with:

My recipe is as follows:

Card Stock: More Mustard, Baroque Blue and Brilliant Blue (SU)
Stamps: All Holidays (SU) and Star Prints (Paper Trey Inc.)
Ink: More Mustard and Brilliant Blue, Momento Tuxedo Black
Patterned Paper: “Masculine” by Jayne Bentley for Dovecraft
Accessories: Distress Tool and Star Punches (all SU), button, gold cord

Pretty simple! Thanks for having a look today.
