Fun is Good…

…says Dr. Seuss! I agree fully! This past weekend, we had my MIL as well as my Dad and his wife stay with us. We also ended up with 18 people for Easter dinner, which was so fun! I think that is a record for me, but I have to say, I love cooking for a crowd. My sister helped with the cooking and it went off without a hitch. Everyone has left and it’s quiet in the house again.
I made this card for Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge #68 as well as SCS’s Color Challenge (Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise and Soft Suede). The dessert option was to use crimping on our card. I have a bunch of crimped paper, but none that would suit the color challenge so I hauled out my crimper and made a panel. I used Certainly Celery as my card base and layered Soft Suede over that. I had some Crate Paper patterned paper that I thought would be perfect for the 3 vertical panels. I added some self-adhesive celery rhinestones to the corners. I stamped the sentiment (Verve’s Beautiful You) in Soft Suede and cut it out and layered it with my nesties. a href=””> This was a pretty easy card to make, but certainly not one of my favourites. Thanks for having a look anyway!
