Spring Flower Swap

I’m swapped out – I joined 4 swaps in less than 3 weeks. This was the last of them. All of the swaps were found on SCS. This one was the closest to me geographically – only the next city over. I might even be able to hand-deliver these cards. The swap called for participants to create a card that features spring flowers. I decided to use the Flourishes Calendar 2 set, with the Irises as my focal flower. May is the month when Irises bloom. I used to have a whole garden full of Irises before digging them up to renovate and add on to my house. I hope this card is considered good enough to swap. Here is the recipe:
Card base – Papertrey Ink. White CS
Next layer and centre horizontal strip – Perfect Plum
Patterned Paper – My Mind’s Eye
Main Image – Irises from Flourishes (Calendar 2 set) stamped on Papertrey Ink. CS, then layered onto Pale Plum and Perfect Plum
Ink – VersaMark
Color Medium – Stampin’ Up! pastels
Accessories – Stampin’ Up! Scallop Trim Border and Scallop Trim Corner punches, SU satin/organdy white 5/8″ ribbon, clear button (inherited from my Baba – grandma – tied with silver cord

Thanks for having a look!
