A two-fer challenge!

This card is a little different or me on two levels – I don’t normally use these kinds of images and the colour challenge was a little tricky. I incorporated the Color Throwdown #39 challenge to use Real Red, Basic Black and Barely Banana with the Sketches by Tamara challenge. I’m not sure who made the swirl stamp I used, but it was part of an unmounted set. There are some really cute other swirly stamps. I didn’t find they stamped very well and I had to use my black marker to fill in the spots. I think the rest of the card is pretty self-explanatory. The sentiment comes from Heard from the Heart set. I’m going to try to get to a few more cards today. See ya later!

You know, this one would work for men too? Its so simple but I like it…though I understand what you mean about stamps that dont stamp so well. I used not to worry, but now I’m so fussy that I cant even pretend that a partially inked stamp is “shabby chic”.!! This is a crisp and clean card. well done.
