Kristina Werner’s Colour Challenge #42

Here is my take on Kristina Werner’s Colour Challenge – to use Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss, More Mustard and Really Rust. As soon as I saw the colours, I knew I wanted to use the With Gratitude set from S-U. I embossed the leaf in gold on Whisper White CS and then coloured it with More Mustard and Really Rust markers and used my blender pen to move the colour around a little. I cut out the leaf and mounted it with a pop-up on WW CS that I sponged with More Mustard. I layered that with a panel of Kiwi Kiss. I used SCS Sketch Challenge #110 (because I have no card lay-out sense). I embellished the card with a few brads and a some mustard satin ribbon (non S-U) that I layered on More Mustard CS. I’m using more neutral backgrounds on my cards & I’m trying to keep my cards a bit simpler.
